Hairline Design Matters Most
A great shaved-look SMP is defined entirely by the hairline. We design a soft, age-appropriate front line with deliberate micro-irregularities — never a ruler-straight line. Temple recession is restored with a natural curve into the existing donor density.
The Three-Session Build
Session 1 — foundation density across the entire treatment area, with a conservative hairline placement. Session 2 — density build, refinement of the hairline, integration with the donor area. Session 3 — final density adjustment, colour matching under standardised lighting, finishing touches.
Daily Life After
You can shave with a razor or electric trimmer to any length. Most clients keep a 1–3 mm buzz to maintain the most natural look. Sun protection (SPF 30+) is the only ongoing care: UV is the dominant cause of pigment fade.

How short can I shave?
Down to a clean shave, including with a razor. The dots remain visible at any length. Most clients prefer a 1–3 mm buzz because it gives the most natural integration with the SMP pattern.
Will it look like I have hair, or like I shaved?
It looks like you shaved — that is the entire goal. The visual result is a "freshly buzzed full head of hair" rather than "I have a full head of hair." This is why the technique works so well: a buzzed look is universally clean and modern, and SMP recreates it permanently.
Does the design account for my future hair loss?
Yes. We design a hairline that suits your face today and will still look right in 20 years. Going aggressively low at 35 looks comical at 60.
